I am part of the team at O'Shaughnessy Ventures with a special focus on Media related projects. Their 2026 Fellowships just closed, and applications for the 2027 cohort will be starting soon.
These days I'm busy researching and telling stories from the archives of Media and tech. My favourites have been the story of Black Mountain College, the story of Buckminster Fuller's Comprehensive Designer, and my ongoing series on Interfaces.
Alongside Allahyar Rehman, I am also a co-founder at Mortimus. Mortimus is a platform for multidisciplinary, consilient thinking. Our research consultancy works with select clients on bespoke projects, and our media publication aims to bring the joy of interconnected thinking to a wider audience.

I first heard about Larry Gagosian in reference to his brief stint at the William Morris Agency, working under Michael Ovitz. I was studying the career of Ovitz at the time, who I found to be endlessly fascinating, both for the reputation that he built over the years as Hollywood's go-to fixer, but also because he was a man of many second acts and he had an eclectic taste.
If you want to understand the sheer thumos of the individuals involved in the space race between the US and the Soviets - Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff is the adrenaline-inducing account. It captures with sheer nerve the accounts of the individuals who pushed the frontiers of space, and what was possible.
IN THE SWEEP OF HISTORY, it’s often the small encounters that capture the essence of entire generations. One such small encounter occurred in the streets of Paris, on the boulevard Raspail.

I worked at Portage, a global investment platform focused on fintech and financial services. I was part of their venture investing team in Toronto.
Before that I worked for Clearco, where I worked on the Treasury team with a remarkable group of engineers and designers to build a founder-tailored banking service for the world's largest B2B eCommerce/SaaS companies.
Broadly
I strongly believe that tracking other people's inputs can give you a strong sense of who they are. I used to track books, and films — but these aren't updated frequently. However I'm a huge fan of Are.na where I track all sorts of links and readings, so that might be worth checking out.
