I’m on a quest to become part of that “small class of scholars who are encyclopedic, insightful and non-dull”. For me this means reading widely, being rational and taking risks.
Currently
- I am building and scaling Mortimus. Mortimus is a platform for multidisciplinary, consilient thinking. Our research consultancy works with select clients on bespoke projects, and our media publication aims to bring the joy of interconnected thinking to a wider audience. My partner and co-founder in this company is Allahyar Rehman.
- I am also helping the team at O’Shaughnessy Ventures with their different verticals. Jim is building a wonderful platform for creators and ambitious people, so if you’ve got cool ideas — do reach out.
Previously
I interned at Portage, a global investment platform focused on fintech and financial services. I was part of their venture investing team in Toronto.
Before that I interned for Clearco, where I worked on the Treasury team with a remarkable group of engineers and designers to build a founder-tailored banking service for the world’s largest B2B eCommerce/SaaS companies.
Broadly
I strongly believe that tracking other people’s inputs can give you a strong sense of who they are. I used to track books, and films — but these aren’t updated frequently. However I’m a huge fan of Arena where I track all sorts of links and readings, so that might be worth checking out.
I’m a sucker for good music, great books, and lively company. So do reach out if any of this aligns with you.
